1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add onions and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until softened.

In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and cream. Stir in cheese. Spread the cooked onions evenly in the bottom of the pastry shell, then pour the egg mixture over the onions.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the eggs have set.
