1 large delicata squash - ends trimmed, halved lengthwise, seeded
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.
Place squash halves with the cut sides facing down on a cutting board. Slice them into 3/8-inch thick pieces, then transfer to a large bowl. Bake in the preheated oven until the squash bottoms are golden brown and tender, about 12 to 18 minutes.
