½ cup packed brown sugar

¼ cup orange juice

Boil chopped sweet potatoes until tender, about 10 minutes.

In a skillet, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly. Stir in orange juice until smooth. Add the boiled sweet potatoes and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until they are caramelized, about 20 minutes.
Helpful Cooking Tips
If the syrup is too runny, simply add more brown sugar to thicken it.
You can also bake the sweet potatoes at 350°F (175°C) until they are easily pierced with a fork.
