Pesto Arugula and Goat Cheese Pizza
Ingredients Needed
-
1 unbaked pizza crust
-
6 tablespoons prepared pesto sauce
-
3 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
-
1 (8 ounce) package seasoned goat cheese
-
2 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
-
1 cup fresh arugula
-
1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven as per the pizza package instructions.
-
Spread a generous layer of pesto on the center of the pizza base, extending toward the edges. Slice the goat cheese into thin rounds and distribute evenly over the pizza. Arrange tomato slices on top of the cheese, then sprinkle with minced garlic. Lightly brush the crust with olive oil.
-
Place the pizza directly on the oven rack and bake for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
-
Once out of the oven, let the pizza cool for a few minutes so the cheese can set. After cooling, scatter fresh arugula over the top. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
