Pineapple Casserole Bake

1 cup white sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

4 large eggs

1 pinch ground cinnamon (Optional)

1 pinch ground nutmeg (Optional)

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice

5 slices white bread, torn
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a medium-sized casserole dish.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter using an electric mixer. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in the crushed pineapple and cubed bread, then transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
