1 cup soy sauce

1 cup white sugar

¼ cup pineapple juice

¼ cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic

1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

3 pounds chicken wings or drumettes
Cooking Instructions

In a large glass or ceramic bowl, whisk together water, soy sauce, sugar, pineapple juice, vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger until the sugar dissolves. Add the chicken wings and toss them to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking dishes and set them aside.

Remove the wings from the marinade, shaking off any excess liquid. Place the wings in the prepared baking dishes and discard the leftover marinade.

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until they are fully cooked and the glaze has turned a golden brown. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the chicken has reached at least 165°F (74°C).
