4 pork chops
Step-by-Step Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly.

Layer shredded cabbage in the baking dish, followed by a layer of sliced potatoes. Repeat the layers of cabbage and potatoes, then sprinkle with salt.

Simmer the soup, water, and diced onions together. Pour this mixture over the layered cabbage and potatoes.

In a skillet, brown each pork chop in a small amount of oil, then place the chops on top of the casserole. Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours or until the pork chops are tender.
