Instructions
Adjust the oven rack to the highest position and set the oven to broil.
Coat the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with onion powder, salt, and pepper. Wrap each steak with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
Place the steaks on a broiler pan and broil for 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the steaks, then sprinkle the tops with shallots. Broil for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the steaks reach your preferred level of doneness.
