Savory Slow Cooker Buffalo Wings

1 (12 ounce) bottle hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)

1 (4 pound) frozen chicken wing sections, thawed

Instructions
Prepare all the ingredients before starting.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 bottle of hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup of butter, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, reduce to low heat, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the chicken wings to the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them.

Cook on High for 1 hour, then reduce the heat to Low and continue cooking for another hour.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a few baking sheets.
Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheets and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

In the meantime, melt 1/2 cup of butter with a bottle of hot sauce in a small saucepan and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Brush the sauce onto the wings just before serving.
