Savory Slow Cooker Meat-Lover's Spaghetti Sauce

½ teaspoon dried oregano

¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves

¼ teaspoon dried basil

1 tablespoon white sugar
Instructions
Warm olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Stir in Italian sausage and onions, cooking until the sausage is browned, about 10 minutes. Once done, transfer the mixture into your slow cooker.
In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook over medium heat. Season with Italian herbs, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and marjoram. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and crumbled, about 10 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, oregano, thyme, and basil. Cover and let it cook on Low for 8 hours. Stir in sugar 15 minutes before serving.

Helpful Tip
This sauce is mildly sweet, so if you prefer a sweeter flavor, consider adding a bit more sugar to taste.
