-
1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta

-
¼ cup butter
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 ¼ pounds peeled and deveined small shrimp
-
1 pound fresh lump crabmeat
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
-
In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter with 1/2 cup olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Stir in 1 1/4 cups of chopped parsley and cook for another minute. Season with lemon juice, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; set aside.
-
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain.
-
In another saucepan, bring a few cups of water to a boil. Add oysters and remove from heat. Let stand for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside. In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and firm. Stir in crabmeat and drained oysters, and cook until the shrimp turn opaque and the crab is heated through.
-
Combine the cooked seafood with the drained pasta and season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour in the prepared sauce and toss gently to coat the pasta. Garnish with the remaining 1/4 cup of chopped parsley before serving.
