Simple 5-Ingredient Mexican Casserole

5 (10 inch) flour tortillas

1 cup salsa

2 cups shredded Cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Coat a 9-inch pie dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In a saucepan, heat refried beans and onions over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until the onions soften.
Start by placing one tortilla at the bottom of the greased pan. Spread about 1/3 cup of the bean mixture on top. Add a few tablespoons of salsa, followed by another tortilla. Repeat the layers, adding more bean mixture and a generous amount of cheese, spreading everything evenly. Finish the top layer with a heavy amount of salsa and cheese.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
