Simple and Delicious Classic Goulash
Ingredients Needed

2 pounds lean ground beef

2 large yellow onions, chopped

6 cloves garlic, chopped

2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce

2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes

3 cups water
-
½ cup sofrito sauce (such as Goya)

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon seasoned salt, or to taste

3 bay leaves

2 ½ cups uncooked elbow macaroni
Instructions

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring until browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain the fat and discard. Stir in the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are translucent, about 10 minutes.

Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, sofrito sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, seasoned salt, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Stir in the macaroni, cover, and continue simmering until the macaroni is tender and the flavors are fully incorporated, about 25 minutes. Remove and discard the bay leaves before serving.
