Simple Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

2 cups hot mashed potatoes

4 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese, cubed

1 cup Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

1 cup beef gravy
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Brown the ground meat in a large skillet. While the meat is cooking, combine potatoes, cream cheese, 1/2 cup shredded cheese, and garlic until smooth and well combined.

Drain the meat, then return it to the skillet. Stir in the vegetables and gravy. Transfer to a 9-inch square baking dish. Spread the potato mixture on top, then sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven until the dish is heated through and the top is golden, about 20 minutes.
Cooking Tip
For a quicker version, use instant mashed potatoes. Prepare according to the package instructions, but skip the milk. This will help the potatoes stay light and fluffy when mixed with cream cheese.
