Southern-Style Pork Neck Bones

4 pounds pork neck bones

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Set the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) to begin the cooking process.
Place three-quarters of the chopped onions and garlic at the bottom of a roasting pan. Add water and vinegar, then season the neck bones with salt and pepper before placing them into the pan. Top with the remaining onions and garlic, then cover the pan securely with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes and covering with foil again after each baste.

Remove the foil and let the neck bones continue baking until they reach a golden brown color, approximately 45 more minutes.
