1 ½ tablespoons capers

1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes (Optional)

1 pound spaghetti
Cooking Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, minced garlic, sugar, parsley, garlic powder, salt, oregano, basil, and black pepper. Add capers and crushed red pepper flakes. Cover the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer with the lid on for 45 to 60 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti in the boiling water until al dente, tender yet firm to the bite. Drain the pasta thoroughly.
