Spicy Quick Roast Chicken

Instructions
Set the oven to 450°F (230°C) and preheat.
Thoroughly rinse the chicken inside and out under cold water, removing any excess fat. Pat dry with paper towels.
Place the chicken in a small baking dish. Rub it with olive oil. Combine salt, pepper, oregano, basil, paprika, and cayenne pepper, then sprinkle the mixture over the chicken.
Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 400°F (205°C) and continue roasting until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C), about 40 minutes more. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
