Instructions
Start by collecting all your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and mustard until the mixture is smooth.

In a large bowl, combine the beef, bread, 1/3 cup of the ketchup mixture, onion, beaten egg, the remaining 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and bouillon. Mix everything together until well incorporated.

Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Once done, carefully remove the pan from the oven and drain any excess fat.

Spread the remaining ketchup mixture on top of the loaf. Return it to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the center is no longer pink. An instant-read thermometer should read at least 160°F (71°C).
