Sweet Honey-Garlic Pork Chops
Ingredients List
-
5 (1-inch thick) boneless pork chops
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
Honey-Garlic Sauce
-
1 cup honey
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
¼ cup soy sauce
-
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
-
1 dash cayenne pepper, or to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
-
Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and brown the pork chops for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Transfer the pork chops to the prepared baking dish.
-
In a bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and butter. Pour the mixture over the pork chops in the baking dish.
-
Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Once done, remove from the oven and let them sit for an additional 5 minutes in the dish to absorb the juices.
-
Serve the pork chops with a generous drizzle of the extra sauce on top.
