Thai Basil Ground Chicken Stir-Fry
Ingredients List
-
2 tablespoons peanut oil
-
¼ cup minced garlic
-
1 pound ground chicken breast
-
12 Thai chiles, sliced into thin rings
-
2 teaspoons black soy sauce
-
2 tablespoons fish sauce
-
1 cup fresh basil leaves
Cooking Instructions
-
Heat a wok on high heat until it starts to smoke. Add peanut oil, followed by garlic. Stir-fry the garlic for around 20 seconds, or until golden brown. Add the ground chicken and cook, stirring frequently, until the meat is fully cooked, crumbly, and no longer pink, about 2 minutes.
-
Add the sliced chilies, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Cook for another 15 seconds to soften the chilies, then toss in the basil and cook until it wilts down.
