Turkey Salisbury Steak Recipe

Ingredients Needed

1 cup water

3 tablespoons dry onion soup mix

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon minced garlic

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 ½ pounds ground turkey

1 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs

1 egg
-
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (10.75 ounce) can water

3 tablespoons brown gravy mix
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup of water, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper. Strain the mixture, saving both the solids and broth. Add half a cup of the broth and the solids into a large bowl, then mix in ground turkey, bread crumbs, and an egg. Form the mixture into 8 oval patties using a 1/2 cup measuring cup and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the patties are no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. The internal temperature should reach at least 165°F (74°C).

In a saucepan, whisk together the remaining broth, mushroom soup, 1 can of water, and gravy mix. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat once smooth.

Flip the patties over and pour the gravy over them. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until the gravy has thickened slightly.
