Whole Wheat & Honey Pizza Dough

Ingredients List
-
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
-
1 cup warm water
-
2 cups whole wheat flour
-
¼ cup wheat germ
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1 tablespoon honey
Cooking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly flour a 12-inch pizza pan.
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes creamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, wheat germ, and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in the honey and yeast mixture. Stir well until fully incorporated. Cover and allow the dough to rise in a warm place for a few minutes.
Transfer the dough onto the prepared pizza pan and roll it out to fit. Use a fork to prick a few holes in the dough.
Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of crispiness.
