Zucchini Cheddar Ranch Meatloaf
Ingredients List
-
1 pound ground beef
-
1 pound ground turkey
-
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
-
1 cup plain bread crumbs
-
¾ cup shredded zucchini
-
½ cup diced onions
-
½ medium green bell pepper, diced
-
1 large egg
-
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
¼ cup ketchup
-
¼ cup steak sauce
Instructions
Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or oil.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground turkey, Cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, zucchini, onions, bell pepper, egg, ranch seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until fully incorporated, then shape into a loaf and place it in the center of the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup and steak sauce until smooth. Pour the mixture over the meatloaf, ensuring it is evenly coated.
Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the center is no longer pink. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure it reaches a minimum of 165°F (74°C) in the center.
Cooking Tip
Feel free to mix and match different types of ground meat, such as beef and turkey, depending on your flavor preferences or what’s available at your local grocery store.
