10 Tips for Preventing Seasickness While Cruising

Embarking on a cruise is an excellent way to explore the world affordably. Modern cruise ships are increasingly innovative, offering many of the luxurious amenities found in top hotels and resorts. 3. STEP OUTSIDE AND FOCUS ON THE HORIZON

4. GINGER EXTRACT

This is one of my personal favorites. Before my cruise, I grabbed some ginger syrup to combat seasickness, and it saved me during rough waters. If ginger syrup isn't your thing, consider ginger capsules, ginger candies, or ginger ale made with real ginger.
5. GREEN APPLES AND CITRUS CANDIES

Consuming green apples or citrus-flavored candies is a well-known tip among cruise staff and experienced divers for alleviating seasickness. While the reason behind this effectiveness is unclear, it's definitely worth trying.
6. AVOID OVERSTIMULATION

Cruises are famous for their wide variety of food options, and passengers often indulge excessively. Be mindful of your limits and refrain from overeating. Opt for lighter meals and reduce alcohol consumption if you're concerned about feeling unwell.
7. KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED

Staying hydrated is crucial. Dehydration can trigger seasickness symptoms or exacerbate them if you're already feeling unwell. If you intend to enjoy alcohol during your cruise, consider bringing B vitamin capsules to help combat dehydration's effects.
8. SNUGGLE INTO YOUR BEDDING

Some people are lulled to sleep by the waves, while others find it challenging. If the ship's movement is disrupting your sleep, try anchoring yourself in bed.
