All the details about Disney Treasure, set to debut with Disney Cruise Line in 2024
In just a few months, Disney Cruise Line will introduce its next ship, the 4,000-passenger Disney Treasure, as the 144,000-ton vessel embarks from Port Canaveral, Florida, carrying its first guests.
Following a decade-long halt in growth, the cruise line is now undergoing a swift expansion phase.
In 2022, Disney Wish marked the beginning of three brand-new Triton Class ships to join Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy. In December 2024, Disney Treasure will become the second Triton Class ship, with Disney Destiny completing the trio in 2025. Additionally, Disney will introduce Disney Adventure, the largest of the new ships, in 2025 to operate from Singapore, along with a yet-to-be-named ship based on the Triton Class design, set to sail from Tokyo starting in 2029.
With a fresh theme, exciting new restaurants and bars, and planned Caribbean itineraries, here’s everything we know so far about Disney Treasure.
Theme of Disney Treasure
Disney Treasure will share much of its design and layout with its sister ship, Disney Wish. However, it will embody a unique aesthetic that leans towards a "mysterious adventure" rather than the "bright-and-airy fairy tale" feel of Wish.
According to renderings, Disney Treasure will boast a Grand Hall adorned with deep blue, turquoise, and gold hues. The design draws inspiration from opulent palaces in distant regions, including Asia and Africa, as well as the fictional city of Agrabah from Disney's "Aladdin."
Appropriately, the statue in the Grand Hall will depict Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Magic Carpet, all set for an adventure, which aligns with the ship's theme.
Captain Minnie will don a special outfit for adventure while aboard Disney Treasure, making her appearance at the ship's bow. Meanwhile, the adventurous pair of Peter Pan and Captain Hook will accompany the ship wherever it sails from the stern.
Cabins on Disney Treasure
Disney Treasure will feature 1,256 cabins and suites, including everything from cozy interior rooms to a luxurious two-story funnel suite, all designed with an adventurous theme. The decor in the interior, ocean-view, and verandah cabins will draw inspiration from Disney films such as "Aladdin," "Pocahontas," "Finding Nemo," "Up," "Luca," and "Encanto."
The Concierge Suites will specifically pay tribute to "The Lion King," while the four Royal Suites will honor the tigers from "The Jungle Book" and "Aladdin."
The standout suite on the ship will be the two-story Tomorrow Tower Suite.
Disney Wish debuted a nearly 2,000-square-foot, multi-room suite located in the ship's faux funnel. While the Tower Suite was themed around "Moana," the Tomorrow Tower Suite on Disney Treasure will showcase a futuristic design inspired by Epcot. It can accommodate up to eight guests, but be ready for a hefty price tag—this suite can cost upwards of $50,000 for a week-long cruise for a family of four.
Dining options on Disney Treasure
Every Disney ship features three complimentary restaurants that guests and their dining teams rotate through each evening for either an early or late dinner. On Disney Treasure, one restaurant will debut in the fleet, while two will return from Disney Wish with a fresh twist.
Plaza de Coco
This brand-new restaurant is exclusive to Disney Treasure. Plaza de Coco is a Mexican eatery set in the world after the events of the movie "Coco."
It replaces the "Frozen"-themed area found on Disney Wish. Following a similar concept, the restaurant offers a "dinner in the round" experience featuring music, dancing, and characters from the "Coco" film performing on stage and mingling with guests during the meal.
Like all dining venues on Treasure, guests will be scheduled to enjoy meals here at least twice, ensuring that Plaza de Coco will present two distinct shows.
Anticipate a menu featuring delights like Enrique's port wine-braised beef short rib; Abuelita Elena's shrimp diabla; chorizo street croquettes served with chili-lime crema, cotija cheese, and cilantro; a blistered poblano pepper filled with Oaxaca cheese and green rice; warm coconut tres leches cake; and margarita lime cheesecake.
Worlds of Marvel
Similar to Disney Wish, guests aboard Disney Treasure will have the opportunity to dine at the Worlds of Marvel restaurant. With Treasure's extended itineraries ensuring at least two visits to each dining venue, a new second show featuring Rocket and Groot will be added to the Worlds of Marvel experience.
The new show, titled "Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix," will be a vibrant musical tribute celebrating Marvel superheroes, allowing guests to put their Marvel knowledge to the test.
The Marvel-themed dinner show "Quantum Encounter," featured on Disney Wish, will also make its appearance on Disney Treasure, albeit with some updates.
1923
Another restaurant making its way from Disney Wish to Disney Treasure is 1923, a California-inspired eatery named after the founding year of the Walt Disney Company. It features a collection of props, artwork, and decor celebrating Disney's rich storytelling legacy. On Disney Treasure, the memorabilia will highlight Disney's more adventurous films and tales.
Jumbeaux's Sweets
Jumbeaux's Sweets is a brand-new ice cream parlor and candy shop making its debut on Treasure. Inspired by Jumbeaux's Cafe from the film "Zootopia," this venue will showcase statues of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.

Similar to Disney Wish, Disney Treasure will feature Palo Steakhouse, Enchante, and The Rose, a bar located at the entrance to both. Guests aged 18 and over can access these venues for an additional fee. This is arguably some of the best value you can find at sea, considering how delightful the dining experiences are.
The fast-casual, upper-deck Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods isn't just for adults; it will also be available on Disney Treasure.
Disney Treasure bars
Skipper Society
With its latest ship, Disney Cruise Line is introducing a unique twist by theming onboard areas around park attractions rather than just Disney characters and films. This is showcased in the new Skipper Society bar on Disney Treasure.
Replacing The Bayou from Wish, Skipper Society draws inspiration from Disney's Jungle Cruise and its witty skippers. Guests can enjoy a selection of themed cocktails and light bites, including waffles.
Periscope Pub
The second new bar is Periscope Pub, drawing inspiration from Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" and Disney's 1954 film adaptation. This bar will take the place of Wish's Keg & Compass as the sports bar on Disney Treasure. Its design mimics the Nautilus submarine, featuring a large periscope, porthole windows, and a ceiling that creates an underwater ambiance. Keep an eye out for the giant squid lurking below!
The Haunted Mansion Parlor
Disney is set to replace the beloved "Star Wars"-themed Hyperspace Lounge, which made its debut on Disney Wish, with the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard Disney Treasure. This eerie establishment captures the spooky essence and cheerful specters of the Haunted Mansion attraction.
The bar will evoke the feel of a first-class drawing room on a vintage ocean liner, transported into a ghostly dimension. Guests can savor specialty cocktails, including non-alcoholic options, adorned with haunting messages and creepy garnishes (gummy eyeballs, anyone?). They’ll also discover nods to the original park attraction and its spectral cast, along with encounters with new nautical apparitions.
Fans of the Haunted Mansion Parlor will find themed merchandise in the ship's onboard shops, allowing them to take home a mirror filled with hitchhiking ghosts or a clock that strikes the 13th hour for some spooky fun.
Scat Cat Lounge
Adjacent to the ship's Grand Hall is another exclusive adult space on Disney Treasure: Scat Cat Lounge. This lively venue, where "everyone wants to be a cat," draws inspiration from Disney's animated classic "The Aristocats," set in early 20th-century Europe.
Within the lounge, you'll discover hanging lanterns, a baby grand piano, and a selection of craft cocktails. The menu features delights like the Creme de la Creme Martini and the Cat Drink, crafted with clarified bourbon, amaro, Aperol, and fresh lemon, resulting in a nearly transparent cocktail that showcases the cat design at the base of the glass.
Disney Treasure activities
Broadway-style shows
Disney Treasure will introduce "Disney The Tale of Moana," its latest Broadway-style musical. This production will be the first time the enchanting story of Moana is brought to life on stage, featuring beloved songs and characters from the animated film.
The ship's main stage, the Walt Disney Theatre, will also host returning favorites, "Beauty and the Beast" and "Disney Seas the Adventure," both showcasing Broadway-caliber performances.
AquaMouse
AquaMouse, the thrilling water ride that first appeared on Disney Wish, will also be a standout attraction on Disney Treasure. Similar to Wish, guests will embark on an animated journey with beloved Disney characters before navigating the twists and turns around the ship. Treasure will introduce a third animated short to complement the two already featured on Wish.
Titled "Curse of the Golden Egg," this new animated segment will follow Mickey and Minnie as they hunt for hidden treasure within an ancient temple. Eventually, this show will join the AquaMouse lineup on Disney Wish.
Sarabi
The ship's two-story, multifunctional entertainment space, themed after "The Lion King," will be known as Sarabi, replacing Luna from Disney Wish.

The inaugural voyage of Disney Treasure is slated for December 21, 2024. This seven-night journey will depart from Port Canaveral (near Orlando) and will stop at Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Castaway Cay, Disney's private island in the Bahamas. Passengers can look forward to three days at sea to relax after their onshore adventures.
Throughout its maiden season, the ship will offer weeklong Caribbean cruises. Most Eastern Caribbean itineraries will feature the same ports, though some will replace St. Thomas with San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Disney Treasure will also provide seven-night Western Caribbean voyages, including two sea days and stops in Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Castaway Cay.
Unlike the itineraries offered on Disney Wish, which feature three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas, the extended itineraries will allow guests more time to explore the ship, with Disney providing additional experiences to keep them entertained.

What are the costs associated with sailing on Disney Treasure?
Prices for a Disney Treasure cruise are somewhat higher than those on other Disney ships, primarily because it is the newest addition to the fleet and exclusively offers weeklong itineraries. Other ships feature shorter, more affordable options.
Rates begin at $4,211 for an inside cabin (for two people) or $6,741 for a family of four. Verandah cabins start at just over $8,000 for a family, while concierge cabins start around $13,000.
You can find the best deals on sailing dates during off-peak times, typically in September and during periods outside of popular school vacations.
Conclusion
Since 2012, Disney Cruise Line has operated four ships, but 2022 marked the beginning of an expansion phase for the line. Following the launch of Disney Wish in 2022, Disney Treasure will set sail in late 2024, with a third Triton Class ship, Disney Destiny, planned for 2025.
