American Airlines Unveils New European Routes for 2024
In light of the summer's high temperatures and bustling crowds in Europe, American Airlines is confident in ongoing demand for transatlantic flights next year. The airline revealed a significant expansion on Thursday for its summer 2024 schedule, introducing three new destinations, one new route, and reviving several flights that were grounded since the pandemic.
This announcement represents American's largest transatlantic growth since 2019.
"Last summer, we hesitated to add new destinations due to Boeing delays and delivery uncertainties. However, this summer, we have the airplanes we need, and we're excited to roll out new locations," stated Brian Znotins, American’s senior vice president of network planning, on the airline’s 'Tell Me Why' podcast series.
So, which new European destinations can travelers expect from American in 2024?
