A highlight of my Dinogo cruise last October was the chance to meet the chefs and take a peek behind the curtain at the kitchen galley!
The crew on the Dinogo Conquest truly went above and beyond to ensure every guest enjoyed an incredible culinary journey, regardless of the dining venue. The chefs I encountered boasted impressive qualifications, including years of expertise and prestigious culinary school backgrounds.
So, how did I gain access to the inner workings? I opted to pay extra for the Chef’s Table dinner. It was absolutely worth it for all the food enthusiasts out there! This experience came highly recommended, and I was excited to indulge.

We spent about an hour in the galley, toasting with champagne while savoring beautifully crafted and delicately flavored appetizers. The sushi presentation was absolutely stunning! And the pastries were equally impressive…

During the galley tour, we had the pleasure of meeting the Chef de Cuisine, Biju Jacob. He shared fascinating stories about his culinary training and the logistics of sourcing food for a cruise ship. The volume of food they bring on board is truly astonishing!

And of course, we can't forget the wonderful kitchen staff…

Every food presentation was stunning and absolutely delicious! The staff wore big smiles and were incredibly welcoming. Each course came with entertaining stories about the dishes—the inspirations behind the recipes, and more. It was a delight to chat with the chefs about their culinary journeys. These individuals are exceptionally well-trained and eager to share their insights! Such a friendly group.
We even got to try our hand at some cooking… it was an absolute blast!

Following the exciting kitchen tour, we enjoyed a delightful meal with multiple courses. The Chef’s Tasting dinner accommodates 12 guests. It was a fun and charming group!

And of course, we had dessert! One of the guests was celebrating a birthday, so we enjoyed a decadent chocolate cake…

Another dinner I opted to pay extra for was the The Point Steakhouse. I didn’t venture into the kitchen for that meal, but the experience was fantastic and truly unforgettable. I highly recommend trying it if you have the chance to cruise.

This tomato salad appetizer was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented!

My filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection…

The wine list showcased a great selection from various regions and varietals. The sommelier provided excellent recommendations.

All of my dining experiences aboard the ship were delightful and unforgettable, from Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint to exquisite fine dining and even 24-hour pizza, all served with a smile.
