Autumn Promotion: Double Points on Stays at Hyatt Mr & Mrs Smith Hotels
Hyatt's latest promotion celebrates the addition of over 800 luxurious Mr & Mrs Smith properties worldwide, including an apartment-style hotel in downtown Reykjavik and an all-inclusive hot spring resort in the Rocky Mountains. This fall is the ideal time to explore these new options, as World of Hyatt members can earn double points at Mr & Mrs Smith locations.
- Receive double points on eligible stays at Mr & Mrs Smith hotels participating in World of Hyatt.
- Bookings must be made through Hyatt's website, app, or Global Care Center; those made via Mr & Mrs Smith's site are not eligible.
- Register by Nov. 30 and complete your stay by Dec. 24.
- The terms and conditions specify that you must finish your stay (but not necessarily book it) after registering. So, if you already have a Mr & Mrs Smith stay planned during the promotion period, you could still earn double points.
- This promotion applies to multiple stays, with no mention of a maximum number of points that can be earned.
This is exciting news for World of Hyatt enthusiasts, particularly because the program's dynamic pricing model for Mr & Mrs Smith has often made it less appealing to book these luxurious (and pricey) properties with points. With this promotion, you can accumulate Hyatt points from paid stays at Mr & Mrs Smith locations and later use them for a free stay at another property. Hyatt still employs an award chart for most hotels, meaning there are valuable sweet spots to discover. You can even use points for all-inclusive resorts.
All Hyatt members earn 5 base points for every dollar spent on Hyatt stays, including at Mr & Mrs Smith locations. This promotion will double that to a total of 10 points per dollar. Additionally, Hyatt elite members will receive their usual tier bonus on base points (10%, 20%, or 30%, based on their status).

Moreover, World of Hyatt cardholders can earn an extra 4 points per dollar spent when they use their card to pay for their stay. This means you could accumulate up to 15.5 points per dollar if you are a top-tier Globalist member with the World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card.
Even if you're not an elite member or a cardholder, the points can accumulate rapidly. For instance, if your stay at a Mr & Mrs Smith property costs $1,000 before taxes and fees, basic members would earn 10,000 points through this promotion—more than enough for a night at a Category 2 Hyatt property during peak dates. You can also use Hyatt points for extras like room upgrades and dining or spa services at Hyatt hotels.
If you haven't settled your travel plans for fall yet, this promotion is definitely worth considering. Even if you're unsure about visiting a Mr & Mrs Smith property soon, we always suggest registering for hotel promotions just in case you find an opportunity to take advantage of them.
