Bermuda will eliminate arrival testing and quarantine for vaccinated travelers.

Situated just under 700 miles and a short 90-minute flight from the U.S. East Coast, Bermuda is an appealing destination for travelers, especially as the island is set to ease entry requirements for vaccinated visitors next month.

Updated COVID-19 entry protocols for vaccinated travelers have been announced.
New COVID-19 guidelines will be implemented on March 7, 2022, aimed at simplifying the entry process for vaccinated visitors arriving by land or sea, according to the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
The updated guidelines will mandate that all visitors aged 18 and older provide proof of their current vaccination status. Travelers to Bermuda are deemed fully vaccinated if they have completed a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series or have received a booster with three doses.
For vaccinated travelers, no additional testing will be necessary beyond the pre-departure test effective March 7. Until that date, vaccinated individuals must still undergo a pre-arrival test, testing upon arrival, and quarantine until receiving a negative result from the pre-arrival test.
This update is welcomed by travelers, including TPG senior travel editor Melanie Lieberman, who shared her experience traveling from NYC to Bermuda in June to evaluate the new St. Regis Bermuda Resort.
"Along with the PCR test required before departure, I also had to apply for Travel Authorization one to three days before arriving, submitting my negative test result, which cost $75," she noted. "This summer, being vaccinated didn't significantly change my experience in Bermuda, as I had to quarantine at the hotel until I received the negative test result from my arrival at L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA)."
Travelers are still required to fill out an online authorization form within 24 to 48 hours before their arrival. Moreover, all visitors aged 2 and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within two days prior to arriving on the island. Both antigen and PCR tests are accepted.
The Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) will coordinate and provide testing for travelers from countries that mandate an entry test, including those coming from the U.S.
"We welcome visitors from across the globe with travel guidelines designed to prioritize both safety and convenience, and our revised protocols will facilitate an even easier visit to Bermuda," stated BTA CEO Charles H. Jeffers II. "Our hotels and local businesses are ready to offer the renowned Bermudian hospitality. There has never been a better moment to visit!"

Entry rules for unvaccinated travelers
While the situation is becoming significantly easier for vaccinated travelers, unvaccinated individuals are still barred from entering Bermuda as of December 2021.
Summary
With the imminent elimination of on-arrival testing and quarantine for vaccinated travelers, a quick getaway to Bermuda is now more feasible than ever for those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Conversely, travel remains unrealistic for unvaccinated individuals.
The BTA is currently promoting a half-price deal on stays at select hotels on the island for bookings made by February 20, 2022.

"In response to the incredible interest we've received for our recent Pink Sale promotion, we are extending this offer, allowing savings of up to 50% for bookings made before February 20," stated Douglas Trueblood, chief sales and marketing officer of the BTA. "Travelers are eager to venture out, and Bermuda is excited to welcome them back."
