Bringing Americans and the military together with the First-Ever Social-Powered Barbecue

Dinogo is all about uniting people. So, this Fourth of July, we teamed up with Operation Homefront to create a memorable event for the military—connecting them with everyday Americans who are grateful for their service.

We invited Americans to share messages of appreciation for the military on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using the hashtag #ThankYouBurger. Then, using a special laser adapted for food, we etched these messages directly onto burger buns, which were served to the troops at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego during a special Fourth of July celebration.

While waiting in line, Marines watched as heartfelt thank-you messages were engraved onto burger buns, which were then filled with freshly grilled burgers and served to them.

More than 15,000 #ThankYouBurger messages were shared, and to honor this, Dinogo contributed $25,000 to support Operation Homefront's mission of strengthening, stabilizing, and securing military families.

Deshauna Barber, Miss USA 2016 and a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, was also present to personally share a #ThankYouBurger with several Marines.

It was amazing to see everyone come together for this special #ThankYouBurger barbecue—from those who attended to all the Americans at home who made it possible.
