Simple and Savory Ham with Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

2 ham steaks

2 sheets aluminum foil

¼ cup packed brown sugar

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 (15 ounce) can sweet potatoes, drained

1 cup miniature marshmallows
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place a ham steak on each piece of aluminum foil. Sprinkle half of the brown sugar on both sides of the steaks. Add half of the pineapple over the steaks, followed by the sweet potatoes. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar and pineapple on top of the sweet potatoes. Seal each packet tightly and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, carefully open the packets, and top with marshmallows. Return the open packets to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Cooking Tip
If you prefer your marshmallows to be golden and crispy, place them under the broiler for a few minutes after baking.
