Budapest hotels – a wide selection from luxury to budget-friendly options

It’s no surprise that Budapest is a top travel spot, with its stunning array of baroque, neoclassical, and art nouveau architecture.
What makes Budapest truly special is that you can not only admire its stunning architecture, but also stay within it. Many of the city's hotels are housed in historic buildings, or are inspired by the rich Hungarian heritage.
When visiting Budapest, consider these hotel options – from luxurious to budget-friendly choices:
LUXURY
Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace

This Four Seasons is a frequent favorite in global travel publications for good reason. It offers five-star luxury in a prime location, overlooking the Danube at the base of the Chain Bridge. The building itself is a breathtaking example of art nouveau design.
Originally constructed in 1906, the building was meticulously restored, including its original Zsolnay tiles. Over 25% of the hotel's 179 rooms feature views of the Danube.
The attic-level spa features an infinity lap pool and offers treatments using products infused with mineral-rich thermal waters from Omorovicza, a local brand. The lobby bar serves exceptional cocktails, and the Gresham Café offers a menu blending modern Hungarian cuisine with Italian favorites.
