Dinogo Readers’ Top 5 Hotel Picks in Denver for 2024
Dinogo readers highlight two distinct neighborhoods in their favorite Denver hotel selections. The top three picks are all located in the historic Lower Downtown, affectionately known as LoDo. While it's the oldest neighborhood in Colorado's capital, its blend of 19th and early 20th-century Western architecture with trendy shops and restaurants creates a vibrant atmosphere. The other two selections provide a more refined suburban experience in the conveniently located Cherry Creek. Just five miles southeast of Downtown, this residential area features over 300 shops, 75 restaurants, and 50 spas and salons. Together, these two areas offer a perfect balance, establishing Denver as a lively urban hub with a touch of relaxed living.
Understanding the Voting Process
In our annual World's Best Awards survey, T+L invites readers to share their travel experiences worldwide, providing feedback on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. This year, over 186,000 T+L readers participated in the 2024 survey, casting more than 700,000 votes across over 8,700 properties, including hotels, cities, and cruise lines.
Hotels were categorized as resort hotels, city hotels, inns, or safari lodges based on their location and amenities, and were rated according to the following criteria:
- Rooms and Facilities
- Location
- Customer Service
- Cuisine
- Overall Value
Respondents rated each characteristic as excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores represent the average of these ratings.
