Disneyland or DisneySea: which will you choose?

When preparing for a trip to Japan, it's wise to create an itinerary in advance. The Tokyo Disney Resort should definitely top your list of must-visit places. Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland is the first Disneyland established outside the United States. It features seven unique areas: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and two smaller zones known as Critter Country and Toontown.

If you’re a fan of Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, Monsters, Inc., or Pirates of the Caribbean, you won’t want to miss the exciting rides in this area. Tokyo DisneySea

Getting There

To reach either Disneyland or DisneySea, your best bet is to take the bus or train. Here are the specifics:

Bus Service

Narita Airport: approximately 60-65 minutes. For buses, head to bus stop no. 5 at Terminal 1, bus stop no. 12 at Terminal 2, and bus stop no. 6 at Terminal 3.Haneda Airport: about 45 minutes. For the International Terminal, use bus stop no. 5; at Terminal 1, go to bus stop no. 6; and at Terminal 2, also use bus stop no. 6.Shinjuku: roughly 50 minutes to Disneyland and 40 minutes to DisneySea. Depart from the Shinjuku Express terminal (Shinjuku Station).Tokyo: around 35 minutes to Disneyland and 25 minutes to DisneySea. Use bus stop no. 5 at Tokyo Station, Yaesu, South Exit.Yokohama: approximately 60 minutes to Disneyland and 50 minutes to DisneySea. Depart from Yokohama Station, East Exit, at the Sogo Department Store Lower Level Bus Stop no. 17.Akihabara: about 65 minutes to Disneyland and 55 minutes to DisneySea. Board from JR Akihabara Station, Main Exit, East-Side Transportation Plaza.
