Exciting new dining options introduced for the Disney Wish cruise ship

Disney Cruise Line has shared fresh insights about the dining venues set to grace its upcoming ship, Disney Wish.
Disney's cruise division announced on Thursday that the 2,500-passenger vessel will feature a new "cinematic dining experience" titled Avengers: Quantum Encounter, alongside two fast-casual eateries. This adds to several previously disclosed dining options.
Here’s everything we currently know about dining on the Disney Wish, which is set to launch on June 9 — nearly a year from now.
Avengers: Quantum Encounter
This will be a groundbreaking immersive dining experience at a previously announced Marvel-themed venue known as Worlds of Marvel, which Disney claims is the first of its kind.
While dining at Worlds of Marvel, guests will take on an interactive role in an Avengers mission featuring Ant-Man and The Wasp. According to Disney, the narrative will follow these Marvel heroes as they present a "special showcase of the most powerful Super Hero technologies, including Captain America's shield, Iron Man's arc reactor, and Ant-Man's Pym Particles, offering visitors a close-up view of holographic displays, field reports, and iconic scenes from Marvel films projected on the screens around the room."

An unexpected villain will arrive with an army intent on stealing the showcased technology, and guests will assist in saving the day (and the dinner) alongside Avengers like Captain America and Captain Marvel.
Anticipate exciting special effects, including shrinking luggage, dynamic lighting, and hidden Marvel references sprinkled throughout the performance.
Regarding the menu, Disney is curating a selection of Marvel-inspired dishes representing various locations featured throughout the film series: Wakanda, Sokovia in Eastern Europe, and New York City. The official menus have yet to be revealed.
Marceline Market
Disney has also introduced new casual dining venues on the ship, beginning with Marceline Market.
Named after Walt Disney's childhood hometown in Missouri, Marceline Market will serve as a vibrant food hall offering a variety of dishes inspired by global marketplaces. Guests will have the option to dine indoors or outdoors while enjoying ocean views.
Marceline Market will boast 10 distinct food stalls and a central bar. Entering this dining hall will feel like stepping into a lively market from the Disney universe, with each stall operated by beloved Disney characters from movies like "Tangled," "Ratatouille," "Alice in Wonderland," "Zootopia," and more.

At Marceline Market, the menu will cater to the entire family — offering everything from classic American dishes to global cuisine, comfort foods, vegetarian and plant-based options, baked treats, and (naturally) desserts.
Breakfast and lunch will be available as a walk-around dining experience, while dinner will include table service with made-to-order entrées.

Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods
The third addition to the dining offerings on the Disney Wish is the Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods.
Located on the upper decks, Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods will be the perfect spot for quick bites while enjoying your time aboard. Beloved options like Disney Cruise Line's signature soft-serve ice cream will be available, along with five Disney-themed stalls: Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue, Donald's Cantina, Daisy's Pizza Pies, Goofy's Grill, and Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream.
If you're a fan of the classic "Mickey Mouse" animated shorts, you'll likely recognize the seaside boardwalk aesthetic at Mickey and Friends. Families will appreciate the shaded seating areas where they can savor their meals.
Additional dining experiences
The three new dining experiences introduced will complement a selection of previously announced restaurants.
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure: Disney's first-ever "Frozen"-themed theatrical dining experience will showcase Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and more, providing a top-notch meal with Nordic inspirations.
1923: This restaurant, inspired by the golden era of Hollywood animation, invites guests to dress up and enjoy a refined dining atmosphere.
Adults-only dining: Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and The Rose (an elegant suite inspired by "Beauty and the Beast") are reserved for guests aged 18 and older, offering a perfect retreat for food and drinks away from children.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary 24-hour room service, specialty treats, and a diverse selection of gourmet cafés.

In summary
Disney Wish will feature a variety of restaurants that are largely new to the fleet. Similar to other Disney cruise ships, Disney Wish will follow the signature rotational dining concept, allowing guests to switch between three main restaurants each night (specifically, Worlds of Marvel; Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure; and 1923). As before, guests will enjoy the continuity of having their servers accompany them to each venue.
Disney Wish will initially depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, with itineraries that include stops in Nassau, the Bahamas, and Disney's exclusive island, Castaway Cay.
