Explore the iconic outdoor filming spots of legendary horror movies on the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot Studio Tour. However, access to the actual soundstages where these cinematic legends came to life is usually off-limits.

This year marks a thrilling change as Universal Studios Hollywood opens one of its soundstages, inviting brave souls to immerse themselves in a horror film experience.

For the first time ever, a Halloween Horror Nights house will be located on Sound Stage 12, known for classics like "Dracula" (1931), "Frankenstein" (1931), and "The Bride of Frankenstein" (1935). Notably, the Bride of Frankenstein herself will star in this exciting new female-led attraction titled Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines.

As you enter Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, you'll find yourself in the midst of an extraordinary clash between two unexpected factions of classic female Universal monsters.

Saskia Van Helsing, the daughter of the legendary Abraham Van Helsing (famed for vanquishing Count Dracula with a stake in the heart in the original tale), has joined forces with the Bride of Frankenstein to take on Dracula's vengeful daughter, Countess Marya. Resurrected to exact vengeance on the Van Helsing lineage, Marya has allied herself with She-Wolf (inspired by the 1946 classic "She-Wolf of London") and Anck-Su-Namun (from the 1932 film "The Mummy") to settle their scores.

Who will prevail and ensure their lineage continues? To find out, you'll need to experience Halloween Horror Nights — and visit Sound Stage 12.

Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines is among eight thrilling haunted houses debuting at Universal Studios Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights. Other attractions include spine-chilling outdoor scare zones, live performances, and a hauntingly revamped backlot Studio Tour known as Terror Tram.

Halloween Horror Nights begins at Universal Studios Hollywood on Sept. 5 and runs on select nights until Nov. 3. This separately ticketed event takes place after the park closes to regular guests, with various ticket options available.

Options include single-night tickets and multi-night passes, along with add-ons like entry to the park anytime after 2 p.m. to enjoy attractions before the event starts, plus early access to haunted houses from 5:30 p.m. There’s also an early access ticket that grants entry 1.5 hours before the event and several options for Universal Express skip-the-line access.

You can also experience Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines and nine additional haunted houses during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort. While there is some overlap in the attractions at both parks, each features unique houses exclusive to their event.
