If you're already acquainted with the escape room concept, here’s a twist: instead of breaking out, your mission at Hilton Orlando is to break into a "grand secret within the resort" by following clues throughout the property.

Since its launch on June 2, 2021, the Escape at Hilton Orlando—set in the hotel’s expansive indoor and outdoor areas just minutes from SeaWorld—has claimed the title of the largest and tallest escape room in the world.

The idea to introduce an escape room to the hotel, according to Hilton Orlando's general manager Chris Mueller, emerged from the recent surge in families and friends traveling together, eager for fresh interactive activities in Central Florida. This escape room experience is enjoyable for kids of all ages, but those aged 11 and up will likely grasp the nuances best.

Upon checking in, use your smart device and a QR code provided to download a third-party app that serves as your guide in "The Spy Game," leading you through clues, challenges, and augmented reality experiences scattered across the hotel.

Embark on a thrilling chase solo or with a group, exploring public spaces and hidden gems like the resort's pool, the stunning 19th floor, the lobby, and even the safety deposit room.

Your mission is to seamlessly blend in as a spy ally, tracking down clues left by the mastermind of a clandestine spy operation that has chosen the Hilton Orlando as her secret headquarters.

Even if the plotline feels a bit far-fetched (after all, with so many points hotels near Disney World in Orlando, who knows where an international spy might choose to lay low?), delightful surprises like gelato and mocktails make following the clues worthwhile.

The entire adventure lasts about three to four hours, but you can enjoy it in bits and pieces amidst all your activities in Orlando, including a leisurely float down the lazy river. Your time isn't tracked on the app, and the mission remains active on your device for your entire stay, allowing you to come and go as you like.
