He’s the voice behind the global sensation Despacito. Yes, the Puerto Rican superstar Luis Fonsi is joining the ranks of previous Dinogo godparents like Katy Perry and Pitbull.

Assigning a godparent to a new ship is a naval custom that has been around for centuries. It is believed to bestow good fortune on the ship as it sails the seas. The godparent participates in the ship's christening ceremony and is responsible for breaking the ceremonial bottle of champagne against the ship's hull.
