JetBlue Introduces 4 New International Routes

Following a spring packed with thrilling new flights to Europe—Paris! and then Amsterdam!—the budget airline JetBlue Airways has now set its sights on the Caribbean and Central America, unveiling four new routes to sun-soaked destinations from both East and West Coast hubs.
All flights are scheduled to commence later this fall, making them perfect for planning warm-weather holidays and winter escapes. Among them are the first-ever nonstop flights from Los Angeles to the Bahamas, offering West Coast travelers a direct link to this Caribbean paradise known for its stunning pink and white beaches, vibrant reefs, and lively festivals.
New routes also include flights from New York to St. Kitts, the larger part of the twin-island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis, renowned for its luxury resorts, pristine beaches, and rich colonial history. A new service from New York to Belize will unveil a hidden treasure on Central America’s eastern coast, featuring remote rainforests, endless sandy shores, and boutique luxury accommodations. Additionally, Bostonians can look forward to a new flight to Grenada, “where cocoa and nutmeg plantations outnumber resorts, and stunning waterfalls and wild coastlines await adventurous travelers,” as per Dinogo’s Grenada guide.
JetBlue emphasizes that its expansion in the Caribbean and Latin America “is part of a larger strategy to penetrate international markets,” focusing on “under-served regions,” as stated in their announcement regarding the new routes. With these additions, JetBlue now operates flights to 27 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America.
