JetBlue Unveils One-Way Fares Starting at Just $39 During Flash Fall Sale

Though summer officially lasts for another month, JetBlue is already getting us excited for fall. The airline has announced its “Big Fall Sale,” featuring one-way fares as low as $39. Act fast—these discounted rates are only available until the end of Thursday, August 24.

This flash JetBlue deal is valid for flights within the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) and select international destinations, such as Puerto Vallarta and Cancun in Mexico; Nassau in the Bahamas; St. George’s in Bermuda; Havana in Cuba; San Jose in Costa Rica; Montego Bay in Jamaica; and various others throughout the Caribbean and Central America.

The promotional fares are valid for travel from September 6 to November 15, 2023. Keep in mind that all Fridays and Sundays are excluded from this offer, so if you're planning a long weekend getaway, you'll need to adjust your travel dates accordingly.

The sale features the lowest available fare, usually the Blue Basic option, which is JetBlue’s no-frills version of Basic Economy. Passengers with a Blue Basic ticket are allowed only a personal item (no overhead carry-on), must pay extra for seat selection before check-in, and face a $100 fee for changing or canceling a ticket within North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, or $200 for other destinations. If Blue Basic is sold out, the next lowest fare, known as Blue (or economy), will apply. Blue allows both a personal item and a carry-on, as well as advance seat selection, with changes permitted without additional fees. For both fare types, checked baggage costs $35 for the first bag and $60 for a second.

JetBlue is also offering discounted JetBlue Vacation packages, which include round-trip flights and two-night hotel stays. There are some fantastic deals, such as Los Angeles to Las Vegas for $153 (normally $39 each way without hotel) and Boston to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for $319 (normally $59 each way without hotel). These vacation package prices are based on double occupancy.
