Learn how to cook the ultimate steak with expert tips from Chef Dante Liporaco of Argentina.

It all starts by dropping that steak onto a pan that’s blazing hot.
Dante Liporaco, owner of Tarquino in Buenos Aires, shares the key to a juicy steak: the right technique, honed at one of Latin America’s top restaurants.
He suggests using a thick cut of meat, allowing it to come to room temperature, and then searing it in a pan that’s smoking hot.
The finishing touch? A sprinkle of chimichurri, the signature Argentinian sauce made with parsley, garlic, oregano, olive oil, and vinegar, plus a dash of kosher salt.
Once off the heat, the steak rests for 3 to 4 minutes, letting its juices redistribute for the perfect bite.
Enjoy your meal!
