Link your Uber account and earn 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points when you take a ride

Marriott and Uber have teamed up, allowing U.S. Marriott Bonvoy members to earn points on Uber transactions, including rides and Uber Eats orders.

For a limited time, receive 1,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points by downloading the Uber app, linking your Marriott and Uber accounts, and completing a ride by midnight on August 31. According to TPG's August 2024 valuations, these points are valued at $8.50.

In addition to the bonus points, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn points in the following ways once their Uber account is linked:

• Earn 6 points for every dollar spent on Uber Eats deliveries to hotels affiliated with Marriott brands in the U.S. (minimum order of $40 required)
• Get 3 points for each dollar spent on premium Uber rides (Uber XL, SUV, Comfort, and Black) within the U.S.
• Receive 2 points for every dollar spent on Uber Eats deliveries and food pickups not associated with hotels in the U.S. (minimum order of $40 required)

Steps to link your Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts

To connect your accounts, follow these steps:

• Launch the Uber app, tap on "Account," then select "Settings" and scroll down.
• Click on "Marriott Bonvoy," then choose "Link Account."
• Log into your Marriott Bonvoy account using your email or membership number. If you aren’t a member yet, you can register here.
• Wait for a confirmation that your accounts are successfully linked.

Your Uber Eats account will be automatically connected at the same time, and you can expect to receive the bonus points within four to six weeks after completing the qualifying ride.

To qualify, you must link your accounts and complete a qualifying ride by 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31. Note that bonus points won't be awarded to Marriott Bonvoy members who have already linked their accounts.
