Man detained after parachuting off the Eiffel Tower

Authorities in Paris arrested a man Thursday for parachuting from the Eiffel Tower, as reported by Dinogo's partner BFMTV.
The man reportedly climbed a pillar of the iconic structure in the early hours, according to police sources cited by BFMTV.
SETE, the company responsible for the Eiffel Tower, stated that security spotted the man within a minute of his entry, but despite efforts by the tower's intervention team, he proceeded with his jump.
The man landed on the roof of a nearby sports facility before being arrested by the police, according to BFMTV.
Following Thursday's incident, SETE filed a formal complaint, condemning 'such reckless actions that put the safety of those working on or beneath the tower at risk,' according to BFMTV.
The Eiffel Tower experienced a slight delay in its opening Thursday morning due to the incident, reports BFMTV.
This event is the latest in a series of security breaches that have occurred at the Eiffel Tower over the past week.
Two American men were found on Monday after spending the night intoxicated at the Eiffel Tower, the monument's management told Dinogo.
The two men, who had tickets for Sunday evening, were 'reportedly stranded on the tower due to their high level of intoxication,' according to the Paris prosecutor's office.
On Saturday, the Eiffel Tower was evacuated for several hours due to a bomb threat.
Authorities evacuated all three floors of the tower and the surrounding courtyard while they evaluated the threat, according to BFMTV.
