Prepare for an expanded selection of summer cruises to the Caribbean
Get set for even more summer cruise options to the Caribbean.
Princess Cruises revealed on Friday that it will embark on its largest summer deployment ever in the Caribbean for 2026, with two ships departing from Florida to the region.
In 2026, Princess will send its 3,560-passenger Regal Princess and 3,140-passenger Caribbean Princess to the Caribbean, departing from Port Everglades and Port Canaveral in Fort Lauderdale, respectively.
Typically, the world's fifth-largest cruise line operates just one ship in Florida during the summer for Caribbean voyages.

The deployment of Caribbean Princess to Port Canaveral is particularly significant, as Princess usually only operates Florida sailings from Port Everglades during the summer months.
The Caribbean Princess deployment will make a Princess ship more accessible to residents in central and northern Florida, as well as Southern states looking to drive to a ship for their vacation. It will also provide a new option for fly-in cruisers, allowing them to easily reach the Caribbean Princess via a short transfer from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
"Princess is committed to expanding access to our exceptional premium experience, now operating from eight North American homeports," said Princess President John Padgett in a statement accompanying the announcement. "With ships departing from both Central and South Florida, it's now more convenient than ever to embark on the legendary Love Boat."
Caribbean Princess docked at the port of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. PRINCESS CRUISESLike many cruise lines, Princess has historically assigned almost all of its ships to Europe and Alaska during the summer months. This strategy is due to the ability of cruise lines to charge higher fares for trips in those regions compared to the Caribbean. However, Princess is currently in the process of adding two large new vessels to its fleet, which will enable it to diversify its deployments to other destinations.
On Friday, Princess announced that its two-ship deployment in the Caribbean for 2026 will feature itineraries covering the Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, and Southern Caribbean — a historic first for the company in its 59-year existence, offering trips to all three major Caribbean regions during the summer.
Sailings from Port Canaveral aboard Caribbean Princess will include:
- A single six-night "Eastern Caribbean with Turks & Caicos" cruise featuring stops at Nassau in the Bahamas, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, and Grand Turk.
- Seven-night "Eastern Caribbean with Turks & Caicos" voyages with visits to Nassau, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and Princess Cays, the line's private island in the Bahamas.
- Seven-night "Western Caribbean with Mexico" cruises that will visit Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, as well as Roatan in Honduras.
- Seven-night "Eastern Caribbean with Puerto Rico" cruises that will include stops in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Amber Cove; and Grand Turk.
Sailings from Port Everglades on Regal Princess will feature:
- Eight-night "Southern Caribbean with ABC Islands" cruises featuring stops at Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.
- Seven-night "Eastern Caribbean with Bahamas" voyages including visits to Princess Cays, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk.
- Seven-night "Western Caribbean with Mexico" cruises that will visit Cozumel, Belize City in Belize, and Roatan.
- Seven-night "Eastern Caribbean with St. Thomas" voyages with stops at Princess Cays, San Juan, and St. Thomas.
Princess has organized some of the seven-night itineraries to allow guests to book consecutive sailings without repeating any ports. These extended 14-night journeys are referred to as Caribbean Adventurer sailings.
Additionally, the cruise line will provide two extended sailings at the beginning and end of the summer season as Caribbean Princess and Regal Princess reposition themselves. These voyages will feature an expanded lineup of port calls, including:
- A 13-night journey on Caribbean Princess departing from Port Everglades on April 28, 2026, stopping at Princess Cays, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, San Juan, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and Nassau, concluding in Port Canaveral.
- A 14-night voyage on Regal Princess leaving from Port Everglades on September 5, 2026, with stops at Curacao, Aruba, Grenada, Barbados, Dominica, St. Maarten, and San Juan, ending in New York.
As part of its announcement, Princess stated that members of its Captain's Circle loyalty program will earn up to $200 in onboard credit per cabin if they book one of the summer 2026 sailings by October 31.
Guests will receive $50 in onboard credit per person for voyages lasting seven to ten nights. For those booking longer Caribbean Adventurer trips, the credit increases to $100 per person. If two passengers share a cabin, that totals $100 or $200 in onboard credit.
Friday's announcement follows Princess's reveal just three months ago about plans to reintroduce seven-night Southern Caribbean sailings from San Juan during the winter — a service not offered for over a decade.
