Stay in a Luxurious “Mirror Cabin” in Tennessee
A series of cleverly camouflaged cabins near Chattanooga, Tennessee, are redefining the experience of immersing oneself in nature.
The cabins feature fully mirrored exteriors, seamlessly blending into the surroundings by reflecting the surrounding forest.
Named Mirror Cabins, these distinctive vacation rentals are part of Bolt Farm Treehouse’s 55-acre glamping site on Whitwell Mountain. Guests can also enjoy stays in geodesic glass domes and tree houses, which gained fame on Netflix’s The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals. Each of the five cabins accommodates two guests and includes a queen-size bed, kitchenette, bathroom with a rainfall shower, workspace, and an in-room streaming movie projector. Additionally, every cabin boasts a private deck with a hot tub, a smokeless firepit, a pizza oven, and a cozy seating area.
“We are thrilled for guests to experience cherished moments in our new mountainside Mirror Cabins,” stated Seth Bolt, co-owner of Bolt Farm Treehouse, in a press release. “It’s all about reconnecting, sharing laughter, and losing track of time in a magical, inspiring, socially distanced haven.”
As per Bolt, the boutique cabins were designed to enhance guests' exploration of the area, as the property adjoins a 5,000-acre nature preserve. Numerous outdoor activities are available nearby, including fishing, hiking, horseback riding, paddleboarding, kayaking, ATV tours, and pontooning on the Tennessee River.

The cabins were crafted by the Estonia-based company ÖÖD, which also operates retreats in Mexico, Denmark, Belgium, Norway, and Estonia. The Tennessee cabins mark the company’s debut in the United States.
The Mirror Cabins are now listed on the Bolt Farm Treehouse website. There’s a two-night minimum stay for weekday arrivals (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) and a three-night minimum for weekends (check-ins on Friday). Rates begin at $395 per night.
