Noelle
NoelleThe refurbished 1930s structure exudes a New York–inspired atmosphere.
In keeping with the New York City vibe, the entry-level rooms are on the smaller side.
While Bobby might be the lively spot on Printers Alley, its neighbor Noelle resembles a refined New York art dealer. This 224-room hotel, a top-five finalist in the 2023 World's Best Awards, is set in a restored 1930s building that feels as though it came straight from New York City’s streets.
Although the interiors have been modernized with all the expected amenities, many of the original grand architectural details remain intact — and the hotel showcases works from local artists throughout. Four Seasons Hotel Nashville
Four Seasons ResortsThe Four Seasons brand offers a relaxed yet highly attentive experience at this hotel.
This is among the priciest hotels in the city.
The Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is my top choice for luxury accommodations in the city. As a longtime admirer of the brand, I had a brief two-night stay just before its public opening in 2022. What amazed me was how this hotel, despite the luxury label, captures the easygoing vibe of its surroundings just a few blocks from Broadway in SoBro. For instance, if you ask the concierge for suggestions, they might direct you to a dive bar known for its fantastic live music in East Nashville.
Nevertheless, the service remains exceptional, whether you're at the front desk, the spa, or the impressive Mimo restaurant, which offers a unique blend of Italian and Southern American cuisine that left me astonished with its caviar linguine adorned with fried okra. After my visit, the hotel unveiled its seventh-floor pool deck and outdoor lounge, Rivière, inspired by the French Riviera, and I'm eager to return for that experience. The property was recognized as one of Nashville's top hotels by T+L readers in the 2024 World's Best Awards and was a winner on the It List in 2023.

Hermitage Hotel
The Hermitage HotelThis hotel embodies a level of grandeur that is unmatched in Nashville.

Established in 1910, the Hermitage Hotel is regarded as Nashville's Grande Dame, conveniently located downtown across from the Tennessee State Capitol. This beaux-arts masterpiece was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2020 and subsequently underwent a two-year restoration. While it proudly displays much of its original opulence — just admire the intricate coffers in the lobby's ceiling — both its public areas and 122 guest rooms have been updated with a fresh and airy color scheme that harmoniously blends tradition with modern touches.
Culinary experiences are managed by Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten; guests can choose between the signature restaurant Drusie & Darr, renowned for its impressive bourbon selection, and the Pink Hermit, an all-day café and wine bar. In 2023, the Hermitage earned a spot as a top-five finalist in the World's Best Awards.

W NashvilleThe rooftop bar offers stunning views.
This hotel is very lively.
The W hotel brand is renowned for its upscale, party-friendly atmosphere, and the Nashville location in the Gulch is no exception. Fitness enthusiasts can join complimentary yoga sessions on the yoga lawn, while visitors can pay to attend.

The Germantown Inn
Emily Dorio / The Germantown InnThis is a genuine B&B, featuring breakfast and happy hour as part of your stay.
Amenities are somewhat limited, as it's more of an inn than a full-service hotel.
The essentials to know about the Germantown Inn are encapsulated in its name: it's an inn, not a hotel, and it's nestled in the historic Germantown neighborhood. Similar to Urban Cowboy, this property is housed in a former residence — specifically, a charming brick structure dating back to the 1860s.
While its 10 suites may bear the names of notable historical figures (mostly presidents), the decor is refreshingly modern and vibrant. Expect lively colors and bold prints that reflect each suite's namesake. Best of all, parking is free.
