The 'Godfather' House Is Now Available on Airbnb

“Monday, Tuesday, Thursday ... ” You could enjoy a stay every day of the week—an entire month, in fact—at the Staten Island mansion that was used for the exterior of Vito Corleone’s residence in The Godfather. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 mafia classic, Airbnb has revealed that one fortunate group will have the chance to spend the whole month of August in the actual house that played a key role in the film.
Reservations begin at 1 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, July 27, for the exclusive opportunity to stay in the five-bedroom, seven-bath English Tudor home from August 1–31. Only one group of up to five guests can book, with the nightly rate set at $50.

While only the exterior of the now 92-year-old mansion was featured in the film, the interior feels like it could belong to the contemporary Corleone family. Spanning 6,248 square feet, the home boasts a spacious living room adorned with luxurious leather furniture, stunning chandeliers, and a large-screen TV above the fireplace; a vast kitchen ideal for whipping up snacks while streaming the trilogy; and an office equipped with a hefty wooden desk, reminiscent of the one Vito Corleone sat at on the day of his daughter's wedding. Additional features include an English pub-style bar, an outdoor firepit with a pizza oven, two indoor fireplaces, a gym, a game room, and a saltwater pool.

This Godfather promotion is the latest chapter in a series of unique stays linked to popular films and shows. In 2020, Airbnb offered five nights at the iconic mansion from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The next year, the company briefly listed the New York City brownstone from Wes Anderson’s film The Royal Tenenbaums. This year, they unveiled a spacious (5,000 square feet with seven distinct bedrooms, an outdoor pool, hot tub, bocce ball court, and poolside casita bar) home in Palm Desert, California, in partnership with Netflix’s Queer Eye star Bobby Berk.
