This Backstreet Boy Once Served as a Disney World Tour Guide
Here's some Disney trivia that "Everybody" might not be aware of.
Kevin Richardson, a member of the Backstreet Boys, once worked as a tour guide at Disney World's Hollywood Studios when it was still called MGM Studios back in 1990.
"I would lead a 25-minute guided tour of the Studio Backlot," Richardson shared during a special commemorating Disney World's 50th anniversary on ABC's 20/20. "It was an inspiring and incredible place to work every day."
The Studio Backlot Tour at MGM offered guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of movie-making. Visitors would board a tram to see recognizable props, various production departments, and thrilling scene simulations — imagine explosions and water effects — placing park-goers right in the heart of the action.
"I cherished my time working at Walt Disney World," Richardson shared in an Instagram caption accompanying a video clip of his interview shared on social media.
In the years that followed, Richardson became a member of one of the most iconic boy bands of the 1990s, The Backstreet Boys, alongside his cousin Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, and Howie Dorough.
The 20/20 special titled "The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World" also included interviews with other Disney-loving celebrities such as Julie Andrews, John Stamos, and Melissa Joan Hart. It's currently available for streaming on Hulu.

Comedian and TV host Wayne Brady once donned the Tigger costume at the park as a teenager, even fainting from heat exhaustion while wearing it, as he shared with Playbill.com last year.
Walt Disney World launched its 50th-anniversary celebrations in October 2021, introducing new events and attractions that continued to emerge throughout the theme park until March 2023. This milestone included spectacular nighttime shows and the debut of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, along with Epcot's latest attraction, the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind indoor coaster.
