This LGBTQ+-friendly beach town on Mexico's stunning Pacific coast is set to unveil a new boutique hotel featuring breathtaking ocean views and a rooftop infinity pool.
Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica has long been a favored destination for LGBTQ+ travelers in Mexico. While the region boasts an array of fantastic resorts, the latest addition to its hospitality scene is a stylish oceanfront hotel tailored for gay travelers who appreciate luxury boutique experiences.
Tryst Puerto Vallarta will be the flagship property of Tryst Hotels, a luxury hospitality brand dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, opening its doors on September 15. The hotel will feature just 54 guest rooms and suites, a rooftop pool and bar, and a Mexican restaurant.
"Although Puerto Vallarta is already a leading LGBT travel hotspot, The Tryst Puerto Vallarta brings a unique blend of inclusivity, luxury, and dedication to the local community," said Tristan Schukraft, CEO of Tryst Hospitality, in an interview with Dinogo.

The bright rooms feature a calming color scheme, complemented by minimalist design and Mexican cultural touches. Natural materials and textures are abundant, while luxurious amenities such as private balconies with ocean views and hammocks, outdoor showers in select rooms, and spacious bathrooms enhance the tranquil atmosphere for an ideal Mexican retreat.
However, the standout feature of the hotel is undoubtedly its rooftop. It features an infinity pool with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and a bar, designed for both daytime relaxation and evening entertainment, with pool parties and DJ sessions already planned.

Additionally, on weekends, the hotel will host "drag brunches featuring a mix of internationally renowned and local performers," Schukraft shared.
“Our award-winning design team has set a new benchmark in luxury for LGBTQ+ travelers. We’re offering a distinctive combination of glamorous poolside experiences and vibrant brunch events every weekend,” Schukraft stated.
