This weekend, swing by DoubleTree by Hilton for a complimentary cookie — no need to be a guest!
Few pleasures compare to a free cookie, especially the legendary chocolate chip cookies from DoubleTree by Hilton.
This Sunday, you don't even need to be a hotel guest to enjoy one. In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on August 4th, DoubleTree by Hilton locations nationwide are giving away both regular and allergy-friendly chocolate chip cookies to all visitors.
That's right: Whether you're staying at the hotel or simply nearby, the cookie is all yours.

"Our chocolate chip cookie is a beloved tradition, representing the warm welcome and comfort that our brand embodies," said Shawn McAteer, brand leader for DoubleTree by Hilton. "We are thrilled to extend our signature welcoming gesture to everyone this year in celebration of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, reflecting the caring hospitality every guest experiences during their visit."
These cookies have been a part of the DoubleTree experience since 1986; Hilton reports that the brand distributes over 20 million cookies each year. To enhance inclusivity, DoubleTree has launched a new version that is gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and produced in an allergen-free environment.
Some people even claim these cookies are out of this world. In 2019, the DoubleTree cookie made history as the first food ever baked in space, thanks to astronauts on the International Space Station. Today, you can view this cookie at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
With nearly 400 DoubleTree by Hilton locations in the U.S. offering free cookies, Hilton has also released the recipe so you can create them at home.
